Errors & Omissions Insurance
The Texas legislature just passed a new law requiring that licensed home inspectors in Texas carry E&O insurance for your protection. DFWinspector has always carried at least 2 times the required insurance amount (required by this new law) since 1995.
E&O Insurance is required insurance for Licensed Home Inspectors and Licensed Mold Technicians.
When shopping around for an inspector, ask to see proof of insurance.

A Very Detailed Computer Generated Report with Digital Photos by a State Licensed, ASHI inspector with a minimum of 20 years of construction-inspection experience.
A Visual Inspection for Termites and Visual Mold Assessment of the interior. If termites or mold are present, we are licensed to help you make a decision on what to do next....you don't have to call anyone else. If you need a written termite report for your lender, we will provide you with an Official Texas WDIR (Wood Destroying Insect Report) for free.
"Inspector-for-Life" On-going Consultations and Help with your new purchase by phone or e-mail, for as long as you need us. Your question could be about an item in the report, how to change a garbage disposer or other DIY repairs around the house or advice about a new room addition.
The Inspection Report is then E-mailed to you the next day
The report is emailed as a Word Document. The report can also be emailed as a PDF file (you'll need Adobe Reader), faxed or express mailed in case you don't have internet access during your move. There's an extra charge for express mail. Commercial, Apartment Inspections and Mold Assessments with samples may take longer, depending on the size of the project. You can have a "same day" turn around time for Mold Samples for an additional fee.
TRY TO ATTEND ALL OR MOST OF YOUR INSPECTION
We always encourage you to attend the entire inspection...or at least half of it. This is your chance to spend some time and get to know your new property whether its a house, apartment complex or a shopping center. You'll be there to discover conditions and issues first hand with the inspector.
If you cannot attend, please go to the Pre-Inspection Agreement & Scope of the Inspection page and follow the directions on the form to provide payment and instructions to us on how to deliver your inspection report.
