| Errors & Omissions Insurance The Texas legislature just passed a new law requiring that licensed home inspectors in Texas carry E&O insurance for your (or the client's) protection. DFWinspector has always carried at least 3-5 times the required insurance amount required by law since 1995. E&O Insurance is required insurance for Licensed home inspectors and Licensed Mold Technicians. When shopping around for an inspector, ask to see proof of insurance (click the links above for proof of our current insurance certificate). Some Commercial Real Estate Sellers and their Agents request that you provide an E&O policy naming them as "also insured". If this is requested, let my office know that we need to get an insurance binder for you before the inspection...at no additional cost to you.
